Updates: Donations and Contributions

"There is no such thing as gratitude unexpressed.  If it is unexpressed, it is plain, old-fashioned ingratitude."  ~Robert Brault

Good morning fellow alumni. Today, I would like to update you on donations and contributions made by our fellow alumni and at the same time, thank them for their abundant love and support to our alumni homecoming and to our Alma Mater.

First in our list and the first ever alumna who gave support is Doris Jane Guillermo-Medina of Batch 1988 who is now in Kensington, Maryland working as a Nurse. She pledged to give P6,500 for banners, streamers and caps. (Doris, instead of flaglets, the CEO and I had decided that it will be hats/caps with print of the alumni homecoming! She wants to be present in spirit, hence the donation from her. Hopefully, she can come in the succeeding reunion that we will have. Thanks so much Doris, from the bottom of our hearts.

Some of the prizes for the raffle draw will be given by Marites Cabulisan who promised to be around though she is now in Hongkong. The Jackpot prizes will be donated by Myrna Agamanos-Calver who now lives in London. She promised to be around come next year's reunion. Thanks a lot to both of you and may God bless you more!

And for SMRVS Alumni, Batch 1984, they are now busy soliciting from their classmates who are here and abroad to drum up funds for the Souvenir T-shirts. Jane Cac-Rasay (Hawaii), Eddie Navarro (Alaska), Jun Guillermo (St. Paul, Bocaue), Marites Ramos (Manila), Felynor Tabian-Regusante (Canada), Val Macalma(LBP-SM), Madelyn Acapuyan-Babas (Hongkong), Lhun Paloay Joseph Pagtiilan (Athens, Greece), Marcelo Cabitla (Bakersfield, California) (Rey Oamil, Audel Battulayan, Recto Abut(Manila) and some more who are not in the list are the prime movers to make these dream souvenir shirts a reality. Wow...they are the alumni president's batchmate! Go batch 84', go........:) This only proves that you are very supportive to your classmate-president! Thank you so much!

A couple more of alumni promised to support this big event like Val Cacacho who is now in Las Vegas, Nevada and Cora Avila who now works in Barcelona, Spain. But for now, I can not yet divulge to you in what way they will support this grand event. But I promise to update you soonest once they will have finally decided and relayed the message to me. This is all I can share for now and hopefully in the coming weeks, more will pledge their support and share us their bountiful blessings.

God bless us all!
